CFL: On Monday, the Washington Examiner reported that Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., the “Republican in name only” who gave Americans the middle finger on health care due to his hatred of President Trump, slammed the chief executive even as he was in his home state for cancer treatment and threatened to usurp the president by having the Senate create military strategy for victory in Afghanistan.

“More than six months after President Trump’s inauguration, there still is no strategy for success in Afghanistan,” McCain said in a released statement. “When the Senate takes up the National Defense Authorization Act in September, I will offer an amendment based on the advice of some our best military leaders that will provide a strategy for success in achieving America’s national interests in Afghanistan.”

That’s right.  McCain wants to use the NDAA to force Trump to use military strategy formulated by the Senate.  more

    You could look at him as bitter, or take the view that he has always been a globalist playing the part of the opposition and now finds his back against the wall between reality and the role he’s been playing.

    He can’t help but expose himself for the globalist he is when he fights with actual conservatism.

    The only time the Senate accomplishes anything is when they approve their pay raises, Cadillac healthcare, needless pork projects, exempting yourselves from the law or some meaningless resolution.

  33. Wet-start McCain is just acting like the wise-ass punk he always was, but was hidden from us by the “fake News” media. Some day the real story of the Forrestal explosion will come out. We need to revisit “The Keating Five,” and “Songbird McCain.” We need to know why he opposed Legislation to identify missing POWs and MIAs. We need to hear a lot about him that has been hidden from us. Hopefully it will come out before he croaks.

  38. I’ll say again, Trump should announce that a full Court Martial will be held to adjudicate McCain’s responsibility for the deaths of 160+ shipmates, the destruction of 5 US warplanes, and his POW collaboration with the enemy in time of war.
    Make clear that McCain’s name will be publicly dragged through the mud, his medals revoked, and he will be officially recast as a traitor and coward. Add sweeping charges of becoming a USSR asset and collaborating with Global Communism.
    Most of this is true.
    The notice should be delivered by an armed detachment assigned to restrict his movements to home and hospital only.
    Make clear he will be tried in a wheelchair or a stretcher.
    Dying is not an excuse.
    And we will try and convict him posthumously, if need be. Oh, and correct his original discharge status to “Dishonorable”.

    Let McStain live with all that while he pukes on Chemo hoping to gain a few last months.

  39. The truth about McCain is unlikely to come out even after his timely death. The left won’t want it out and the RINO’s can’t afford it to come out. Maybe if there are a few journalists and a news group that has the courage it could happen but it’s unlikely. This rat bastard will end up with a state funeral and all kinds of people saying wonderful things they know are lies. Sure would be funny though if wikileaks somehow got a hold of the real McCains service files as well as FBI info on the Keating scandal that was never released and (as a previous poster pointed out) why the “war hero” shut down the search for MIA’s in Indochina. I when his time comes that he’s welcomed into hell by Ted Kennedy who’s his new bunkie.
