JTN: New Mexico Attorney General Raul Torrez announced Tuesday that he will not defend Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, a fellow Democrat, in multiple filed lawsuits opposing her gun ban.
“I do not believe that the Emergency Order will have any meaningful impact on public safety,” Torrez’s letter reads. “I do not believe it passes constitutional muster.
Last week, Grisham issued an executive order declaring a public health emergency over gun violence. She suspended open and concealed carry of firearms in the city of Albuquerque for a 30-day period. more

When a government official is found to be violating a citizen’s constitutional rights, they should be personally liable for the legal costs incurred for defending those rights. This should apply all who violate such rights including LEO, mayors, governors, FBI, ATF, DOJ and the pretender of the US.

Her effort to rob everyone in her state of the right to keep and BEAR arms reminds me of the guy that tried to rob some people and they all just sat around and ignored him until he left in defeat.

Was this executive order just an emotional directive from the governor’s uterus or is it a test? The communists rarely do anything spontaneous so enquiring minds want to know. Certainly the only adequate response involves removing her from office immediately, anything less is a win for the communists and a green light for further constitutional abuses striking at the heart of our ability to resist their nefarious plans.
