Former Vice President Mike Pence filed paperwork to run for president in 2024, officially joining the GOP primary field to challenge former President Donald Trump for the nomination.
Pence is the second Republican to announce his intent to run in 2024 in what is expected to be a crowded Republican primary field. His announcement comes more than a month after Trump announced his reelection campaign on Nov. 15.
Waste of time and filing fee. Pence’s chances are below zero.
After 2 years measuring the pulse of the nation, he decided to run…anyway. What a clown.

He has no plan or desire to actually get the nomination. He just wants the massive income from the campaign donations.
They are paying him to do this in an effort to embarrass President Trump.
The Examiner said Pence’s campaign is denying it now:
“It’s not clear who filed the paperwork on Pence’s behalf, with the former vice president’s spokesperson suggesting it may have been a prank, according to New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman. The Washington Examiner has reached out to O’Malley for further comment but has not yet received a response.”
