Sen. Ted Cruz(R- TX) DEMANDS Action Against Lawless Portland Mayor After Antifa Attacked Conservative Writer

Bongino- Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is demanding federal action against Portland, Oregon Mayor Ted Wheeler for ordering his police officers “to let citizens be attacked by domestic terrorists,” after conservative writer Andy Ngo was brutally assaulted by Antifa thugs on Saturday.

Cruz tweeted yesterday, “To federal law enforcement: investigate & bring legal action against a Mayor who has, for political reasons, ordered his police officers to let citizens be attacked by domestic terrorists.”

  1. Some commenter here quoted an unnamed source who said it best.

You can vote your way into socialism bur you’ll have to shoot your way out.

Some of the masked hoodlums are going to have to eat lead in order for this violent movement to lose its appeal. It’s coming. Soon.

  2. If you don’t know, the Mayor is also given the responsibility to head up the police department even though there is a Chief of Police (who was hired at almost $300K p/yr based on the qualification of being black and being a woman).

City Commissioner meetings can be a joke at times because the room is full of Leftist yelling their demands and pseudo cop watchers militating on behalf of the homeless and drug addicts. What Ted doesn’t want is a mob standing outside his home every night, so he just lets them have their way in the downtown.

Law abiding citizens don’t want to speak up because they don’t want the police arriving at their doors to take all their guns (thanks Kate Brown) and then be defenseless when they get doxxed by Antifa and hope the cops might show up (good luck with that). It seems the only way to get the police to act is if you say that someone is trying to steal a hijab or a Pride Flag at Drag Queen reading hour, then Ted will send the SWAT team.

  3. The time is ripe for conservatives to put forth some candidates in Portland and environs. Most people will do nothing publicly to stop this stuff, but they will vote it out given half a chance. I know Seattle is reaching that tipping point, too. I keep reminding myself that the pendulum never stops swinging, and it will start its move the right at some point — and it will. We need to take advantage of the rising tide.

  4. Lazlo (now the Elder) — I love you to death, Mr. L! But, seriously? Go around in armed packs? I can’t even get together with my BFFs for coffee but every three or four months — we’re all too damn busy. Where am I going to cobble together a bunch of armed friends to escort me to a public venue? I know, I know … it sounds good on paper.

Use the above DoJ contact info to at least vent your spleen at them. It’s therapeutic.

    🙂

  5. I am early to the game, I’ve had enough of this liberal shit LOOOOONG ago, I’m just waiting for the rest of ‘common sense’ human beings to catch up.

  6. What would the police do if a bigger gang of real anti-fascists surrounded the antifa group? Germany did try to stop the brown shirts but socialism took over anyway. We had better learn from history.

  7. Aaron — Well, since you put it that way…..

To be frank, seeing how I live in Seattle, anyway, I don’t have any friends who would know how to handle a gun. And not one of them have an Impala, either. In fact, I got exactly two women friends who are bona fide conservatives. Neither live in the city limits.

  9. Fine. Give me the money and I’ll buy it. It’s at a car lot. The cheap one neads some tlc but I’ll totally clean it up and stash gunz under all the seats for ya’.

Just let me….you know…… fix the horn so it plays la cucaracha.

Police have received information that some of the milkshakes thrown today during the demonstration contained quick-drying cement. We are encouraging anyone hit with a substance today to report it to police.

I mean just think if it were a right out the fryer tater-tot coated in RoundUp!
A time to call to arms, arm yourselves America, get a Ralphie Red Ryder BB Gun!
    Milkshakes reported,,,ffs
The so concerned Cruz should maybe move to Portland, or perhaps give a Sh*t about citizens being attacked by illegal trespassers (his own family members) where he’s been elected.

  11. Yeah…but the Super Sport is made more for jumping off of dirt ramps and through highway billboards.

I will however, put lil’ 14 inch tires on it with rims that have 6 thousand gold spokes.

    Whitewalls.

  12. Two left leaning former coworkers, not exactly friends but we socialize every blue moon, were in Portland for the ELO concert this weekend. She posted that the level of homelessness in Portland creeped her out and some were violent and the police presence was non existent.

Not on the street proactively patrolling or actually stopping hoodlums in the act-anarchy then? I do hope the Left Coast is tipping…I see signs too.

  13. Here’s the deal: After that guy down in Berkeley got off with a slap on the wrist after having assaulted, what, six or seven people? — with a heavy bicycle lock, it’s only emboldened greater and greater methods of assault by so-called “antifa”. First off, I thought they had been listed as a domestic terror org, second, I thought it was illegal to demonstrate and protest wearing masks.

The guys who attacked Ngo and others in Portland this past weekend were arrested, but it seems like they were — again — arrested for much lesser things.

  14. Yeah, I can dream, but it would be too big a target for the homeless in Seattle to steal all that wonderful stuff off it. Can’t take the risk. Boo hoo.

    3
  15. What it is going to take is 500 guys wading into them with 1.5 inch Douglas Fir closet rods 6 feet long and beat the living crap out of them. Antifa will not learn until there is their blood on the streets.(Theirs)
They come armed for battle it is long past time to bring it to them. When the police try to stop it, form a line and stop them from from getting to Antifa to save them. 200 guys would take them a long time to clear out,in the mean time the rest of the guys could keep beating on them.
It has to stop, they hit a 70 year old man with a crowbar. Just look at his head and the blood.

  16. @NoBlushes Alas, I wasn’t at the ELO show. I was just sharing what a friend had written on FB about her trip to Portland. I’ve pretty much made it a rule to avoid Portland or Seattle…one of the reasons I missed seeing Simple Minds earlier this year!

  17. The mayor, the police captain, the State Police, the governor, and the National Guard were negligent in doing their duties to protect and keep lawful order in this Portland civilian area. I say that because in the Missouri riots, all these law enforcers were involved. With Ted Cruz getting involved demanding federal action, this becomes very suspect. How can the federal government get involved if no federal laws have been broken, unless Antifa be finally declared a terrorist organization, which it is. Martial Law could be ordered by the President if Antifa is recognized as a threat to national security. So is there a plan being carried out?

Missouri governor sends in National Guard to quell riots in Ferguson

“Hundreds of protesters, including young children, fled to safety after police wearing gas masks and body armour fired canisters of smoke to disperse them hours before the curfew. The Missouri Highway Patrol said some tear gas was used along with the smoke bombs. Missouri Highway Patrol Captain Ron Johnson told media that police had “no alternative but to elevate our response” after shots were fired, stores were vandalised and Molotov cocktails were thrown at police.”

  18. Aaron Burr–

The back seat looks okay. Trying hard to find anything else to praise.

What can you find for a four-pack of Mexican coke and a used Swiss Army knife?

    3
  19. Aaron Burr–

“The AC and the heat work perfectly” but it doesn’t run?

I’m not looking for housing, here. I want a car. Okay, how about TWO four-packs?

    2
  20. Do you not get how this works? The less money upfront means you’re supplying the parts and labor to make what you want.

Or, you’re scamming some knucklehead out of a cherry ride.

Take this Hyundai kid. 1600 in repairs? The pump is 40 bucks and the belt is 80. You buy the car, I’ll fix it up for the aforementioned Mexican Cokes and used swiss army knife. Then you have a 2K car you can drive or sell.

I can’t get you something that runs, AND has running boards for less than 4500. However, at that bargain basement price, you can tool around in a Model AA flatbed truck……or the previously displayed fire truck.

Look again at the station wagon price, and then what you can sell it for.

  21. Aaron — You crack me up! A firetruck. A 1987 firetruck used by DoD at airports. 43K miles just tooling around the airport perimeter. That’s a good price, too.

    Too funny.

  22. Those late 60’s / early 70’s Impalas are still hot numbers, Aaron. My son rebuilt a 1970 Impala small block V8 as a senior in high school and doubled my money! Okay, I gave him the profit and then he rebuilt a TR-6 and tripled his own. Today, he’s an Army aviator and as good a mechanic as any on his staff. Damn, I miss him.

    2
  23. Hey that 1958 Seagraves fire truck is only 4500. Plus, it’s a convertible…

And no, I’m not running a used car lot. We’re trying to find urban assault vehicles for people living in the northwest.

And yes Jimmy. Car repair is so easy even a high school kid can do it.

O.K. next up, anybody seen Phantasm?

Hearse. only 3K. Send a message that you mean business. Nothin’ intimidates like a hearse.

    (sigh)

“There are none so blind, as those who” something, something, dark side.

a Mayor who has, for political reasons, ordered his police officers to let citizens be attacked

The job of the police, of the rule of law, is to attack citizens for political reasons. It is the only reason an heroes sign up. The government’s de jure street soldiers do not stand down to allow the government’s de facto street soldiers to be beaten. When the government’s street soldiers failed in their courageous attack on sleeping children in Waco, did the government gather up their incompetent commanders and find the nearest ditch? Did the brave and honorable men of law enforcement gather up the bad apples, still surrounding and attempting to kill, the best thwarters of home invasion America’s seen in, well, ever? To prove the barrel’s fine? (Sorry, Bundy lickers, if you let all the attackers go home, you didn’t even try.) “Ooh, ooh ooh, Mr. Horse Sh…ack! There’s no A government. There’s a voluntary federation of multiple, independent, governments!” (Suck it, Ghost of Jefferson Davis!) Some other government’s de jure street soldiers will swoop in (well maybe stroll in, after the bodies cool off), and do what’s right? About ending the violence of some other government’s de jure street soldiers against the citizens? Same as it ever was? I mean is.

Here’s a hint for you most brave, and honorable knights: The armed men that stand at the castle gate, to keep you from harming the armed men that throw cows, coconuts, and flaming bags of excrement in your general direction, are not on your side. They’re on somebody’s side. It ain’t yours.

(And here’s a pro tip, for you put upon vassals, who actually have to make the heroic deeds happen: Those gates ain’t gonna move themselves. Either you’re gonna have to clear them of the enemy, or you’re going to run away, run away! Bravely, of course.)
