Breitbart: NEW YORK CITY – The annual National Puerto Rican Day Parade has fallen into turmoil as sponsors and fire and police representatives drop their sponsorship over the parade committee’s decision to use the event to honor Oscar López Rivera – a convicted terrorist whose sentence President Barack Obama commuted, and who was released this month.
The New York Yankees, Coca-Cola, JetBlue, and AT&T all pulled out of the June 11 parade this week in the wake of the parade committee’s decision to award López Rivera, an activist who enabled acts of terrorism in the name of Puerto Rican independence, the title of “national freedom hero.” Goya pulled out of the parade last week, yanking $200,000 of patronage, according to local lawmakers. — There’s more
Ten bucks that shit-stain Andrew Cuomo will still be there.
Bad PR
Any minute now, Andrew will be hectoring the fed gov to pony up for the parade. Gotta be a spare teat for a terrorist toast somewhere in DC.
Anybody catch this last night about including this terrorist in the parade? Tucker Carlson at his best.

de Blasio, the Marxist/communist, will certainly be there, front and center to honor a murderer.
A true representative of NYC.
Kudos to the sponsors who pulled out.
Since the WEALTHIEST people in this country are dems (like Gates, Buffet, Zuck etc) they’ll probably chip in to get this piece of trash up & running.
Good for them. I don’t see any difference between this and how their products are boycotted if liberals dislike something they do.
Bad_Brad–I watched the you tube that you posted, besides being nauseated by the councilman’s stance, I noticed he was wearing bowtie, hiccuping (or something else) a lot, and HE was the one who was conflating things. What a total train wreck and yet he was voted into office. SMH
I think the Puerto Rican terrorist can be compared to Mandela considering the murders by gas filled tire necklacing advocated, if not by explicitly by Mandela, then by some of his close associates.
Meanwhile, back to Puerto Rico, 61% voted for statehood in 2012, 51% voted no. Congressional bills for statehood died in the House in 2014. There’s going to be another referendum next month. I’m sure the terrorist will terrorize.
Hey if this is going to be a continuing problem with PR not paying us back, supporting terrorism, going half-assed communist and all- I’m OK with cutting PR loose all together.
It was so stupid for JetBlue to be involved!
Airline + terrorism = very bad optics!
Univision has pulled their support now but DeBlah blah is going to march WITH Rivera.
