  1. Maybe it has been discussed here before, but has anyone compared numbers of victims of the Hajj stampedes and so-called mass shootings? I think the Hajj should be banned.
    Aloha Snackbar!

  2. I read somewhere that the 2nd amendment is actually an amalgam of a demand to guarantee the right of the states to form militias by Virginia, and the right for private citizens to bear arms, by, of all places, Massachusetts.

  3. When liberty-hating anti-gun freaks you may encounter start trying to pick apart the language of the 2nd Amendment, don’t forget to explain that “well regulated” means “well equipped”. It’s accurate and truthful, so naturally, it drives them nuts.

  4. The federal judge living across the street goes into near-apoplexy every time Geoff C. The Saltine mentions “the comma.” She’s a gun-grabbing, judicial activist who is the poster child for leftist thought.

  5. As I have commented a few times on Facebook, the Bill of Rights is a listing of our rights ‘endowed by our Creator’ as noted in the Declaration of Independence. These are not given to us by the federal government through the Constitution, they are given to us by God (or are our ‘natural rights’ for those atheists). The 2nd Amendment simply recognizes that we have a right to defend ourselves and those we love.

  6. It is totally legal and recommended for a citizen to keep and bear arms and its a criminal act by a citizen to try and stop them from doing so. Gun owners are law abiding and gun control nuts are criminals!

  7. The point of this graphic is that the left tries to say that the NRA is the big bad gun lobby.
They may be a lobby, but they are a meaningless lobby for this discussion.

  8. I was just about to gently criticize BFH’s graphic for its extraneous commas when I read your comment. The officially ratified version, also known as “Jefferson’s Official Imprint,” has only one comma, after “state.” The other two commas, after “militia” and “arms,” though they did appear in some versions, are superfluous and grammatically incorrect, and serve only to give idiotic gun grabbers like your neighbor something to niggle about in their efforts to undermine the Second Amendment. Just a little pet peeve of mine.

  9. but this lobby is too masculine for the times today

according to vandebilt university, masculinity is hurtful

no longer are to have big biceps and say such things as man up, grow a pair, put on the big boy pants, defend ourselves

we must relinquish to the pussification of america, throw down our weapons, and screw each other in the ass as a act of loving your feminized brother

  10. Even more to the point, the Bill of Rights is NOT a list of rights.
It is a list of restrictions on federal government.
Rights exist, therefore we restrict government.
