Love me some Joe Dan! I appreciated his story about finding strength in prayer. Very touching, as many of us have been through our deep dark times and have learned precious lessons to guide us in our lives.
My lesson I learned in my 20s is to hang on, no matter what. When I doubt God and I’m ready to almost give up, I ask, “What else is there?” If I reject God, there is nothing. I have to trust God no matter how I feel or what is happening to me. I must trust God.
My brother once told me that I had a strong faith, but I told him it wasn’t me. God gave me that faith.
