“Immigration courts are backlogged”…Because the subjects of the cases have all disappeared within our country.
There should be a blanket deportation order for every foreign invader that came through Mexico (and / or other countries) but failed to seek asylum there as the law requires. If they were really in danger in their home countries, they would have gladly followed the law and sought asylum in the first country they entered into illegally rather than seeking asylum in the US. That should lighten the pending case load by several million at least.
