The waiter at the restaurant where Bruce Maxwell, rotten catcher for the Oakland Athletics, says he never heard of the guy before and he was not denied service.
The manager at the restaurant says that a 3rd party at Maxwell’s table was denied a beer because he had expired ID.
What I find hilarious is that this guy is pulling the race card, as well.
What is he? He claims he’s black.

Our local radio show had the waiter on (he is 42 and from New York). The MLB player was there with a local congressman who is a known race baiter. When the waiter refused the 3rd man at the table an alcoholic drink because of an invalid ID, the congressman followed him into the kitchen and basically said “you don’t know who I am or who he is.” The waiter served them their meal and it is on video! He had no idea who the kneeler was and really didn’t care. I think the congressman came back from the kitchen encounter and lied to the kneeler about what was said. I am glad the waiter and the management are standing up for what is the truth.
