At least nine other states approve of President Barack Obama at the same or lower rate as Louisiana.
An analysis of Huffington Post polling data reveals that Obama’s approval rating in Louisiana is 39%. According to the Huffington Post’s own figures, the following states rate Obama’s approval at 39% or lower:
- Alaska
- Arkansas
- Florida
- Kansas
- Kentucky
- Montana
- South Dakota
- Tennessee
- West Virginia

I have never understood why his ratings are so high, except for the 30% he can always count on. I think it should be below 10%.
