I wonder if they count the underemployed like me. I’m employed only 7-8 months of the year. Would love a real job that paid benefits. I get by, though. Learned how to live on a wing and a prayer. Lots of prayer!
Claudia My son gets about seven or eights months a year in construction if he’s lucky. It used to be different in my time, like ten to eleven months a year.
Don’t get me started. We have FAR too many foreign workers holding American tech jobs for example. IMO these jobs should all be held by American citizens ONLY. Send the foreign guest workers home, now.

1. if here illegally you get sent home. no questions no exceptions
2. many companies now begging for workers to fill jobs.
3. take lists of folks on welfare and give that list to companies that need workers.
4. do not pay welfare benefits out until all job positions are filled.
