Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is a “natural born citizen” according to the Illinois Board of Elections.
The state’s BOE ruled that Cruz met the citizenship criteria to appear on the state’s primary ballot.
Two state residents, William Graham and Lawrence Joyce, challenged Cruz’s eligibility with the board, claiming his name should not appear on the March 15 primary ballot because his candidacy did not comply with Article II of the U.S. Constitution. :
ht. flaming hetero
Oh, well. If the Illinois Board of Elections says he’s eligible, I guess the science is settled! Case closed! Move along.
I haven’t judged him by his elagibility, He has shown me no integrity. I’ll vote Rubio before this guy.
56 states to go….
I wonder how much it’s going to cost Trump to get one of the big swing states to rule him ineligible.
BREAKING:
Loser Trump is Now Eligible as an Iowa Loser to Cruz for a Lawsuit 2 SUE Cruz’s Citizenship because damages required to sue.
btw.. if Trump does Not Sue it’s a sign of Cowardice, total disrespect for Trump’s followers.
Little known fact is that you don’t even have to be eligible to RUN. You have to be eligible to serve. This is a little thing that came out waaaayyyy back in obamas early years. Turns out anyone can run. Some dude, I think it was in NYC, went before a judge to see if he could run. It was more of a gag than anything, because he had lately naturalized, and the Judge decided that anyone could RUN. There is no law preventing that.
Does Lawrence Joyce work for Trump? Do you think Trump is pulling the strings here?
To blaim Trump for this is shooting the messenger. He made the claim “they” will question his eligiblity and he was correct, several times over now.
