  1. Using the mentally ill to sell beer is akin to using wheelchair bound people to sell running shoes.
Not a good mix for a marketing campaign, by far the majority people outside of overpaid marketing circles, would understand that.

Alissa Heinerscheid will be back at AB at her old job or another VP position.
It appears she was hired by insider referrals who were aware she would be hired at a VP position beyond her abilities. She got off her leash and ran afoul of AB stock holders, distributors and beer drinkers.
Having her count cases of beer may be in her skill set.

  2. “A senior marketing executive at Bud Light has taken a leave of absence…” Translation: she got suspended.

What I want to know is who approved this STUPID ad campaign?

  3. Stopped by the AMVET club for lunch yesterday and I asked the waitress if they had BUD LIGHT. She told me they can’t even give that shit away! Then she asked me if I wanted one…silence, then she said I’ll bring you your usual Corona!

  4. Anheuser-Busch owns Corona, just in case anyone cares. I
have noticed a significant increase in adds for Corona, Modelo and Michelob, all Anheuser-Busch owned, in the last week. It’s almost like they’re trying to make up for lost sales of one of their other products.
