Despite Increased Police Presence.
City’s “Summer All Out” program not reducing violence.
Despite the city’s anti-crime “Summer All Out” initiative, which greatly increased the number of police in the trouble areas of New York City, crime surged in the city last week, with more than double the number of shootings from the same time last year.
Last week was the first week of de Blasio’s anti-crime program, which involved 330 cops moved from their desk jobs to the streets. The result: 43 shootings, 53 dead. Last year, NYC saw experienced than half the number of shooting, 21.
The NY Post reports that one unnamed police source predicted that the program would be a failure: “It’s not going to abate the problem,” the source said. “These are not cops who are going to bring in gun collars or drug collars, because they didn’t do it in the first place.” The problem, he explained, is the officers’ lack of “street skills” and motivation. “Mr Mayor, you don’t have a gun problem”
I’ll bet 95% of the crime and corruption could be eradicated if only they just threw DeBlasio and Sharpton in jail.
Think about it.
Brickable faces.
Elect a commie; get commie results.
What was that stat t’other day? One out of every six NY’ers speaks “other than English” at home?
NYC, you might be doing it wrong, try concealed carry, more guns less crime.
