Your memory is faulty or maybe you aren’t old enough. Been happening in the USA since at least 9/11. I don’t remember the details of the first attempt to bomb the WTC in 1994 but the intent was definitely there.
In fact, my memory is faulty also. I forgot that muslimes have been killing Americans since the founding of the country. At least back then the saying was “millions for defense but not one cent for tribute”. Today it seems to be billions for tribute and all the appeasement that you need.
