  1. I happened to catch Judge Napolitano on “Outnumbered” while eating my sandwich and they were talking about Warren and her Indian heritage.

Judge Nap mentioned that 1/32 was the legal minimum to be considered an Indian. That had me thinking, I wonder what the confidence interval is on Warren by 1/32 vs. 1/512? It also had me thinking that this is pretty convenient for Harvard and Warren just in case someone decided to file a discrimination suit against them both.

  2. President Trump could claim to be a trans woman and then be the first woman prez!

It would never happen, but it would be funny since Hillary wanted to break that glass ceiling.

  3. Jimmy, my oldest daughter is in the process of applying to become a member of The DAR right now. Of course it helps to have WASP ancestors who actually fought in the American Revolution (Civil War as well) and go back in ancestry to probably the 2 or 3rd generation of Puritans in the 1630’s and 40’s. I keep telling her that’s quite a distinction nowadays since there are fewer and fewer American women who can claim that distinction anymore. One of my cousins traced our family history on my mom’s side of the family and found all this out about 10 years or so ago and my wife’s family also qualifies as well so it’s a twofer.

  4. The Boston Globe is saying that there was a math error in the calculation of Warren’s ancestry. Correction: Due to a math error, a story about Elizabeth Warren misstated the ancestry percentage of a potential 6th to 10th generation relative. The generational range based on the ancestor that the report identified suggests she’s between 1/64th and 1/1,024th Native American.”

I believe Brett Baier was saying tonight this means she has even less Indian heritage as the average American.
