Who believes this story? Who believes an anti-war protestor tried to join the marines in 1975 when they were already married?
Well, apparently the “super-inquisitive” press believes her, because none of then scrambled to try and figure out if she was lying or not. In fact, I never heard this story before, that’s how under the radar it flew.
Story HERE
Probably some kind of penis size regulation, uniform wouldn’t fit or something.
“It was not a very encouraging conversation,” she said. “I decided maybe I’ll look for another way to serve my country.”
Looking for a way to serve her country……that’s a good one!
This came up in the media during the primaries in 2007:

Her timing on that does sound very strange.
She MEANT it…
…she just didn’t specify if
she would “serve her country”
rare, medium-rare or well-done.
I thought the military quit using mules.
Hillary doesn’t lie. Actual footage of Hillary dodging sniper fire in Bosnia.

OK Hillary, turn your head and cough…
I apologize for putting that image in yer heads… I’ll leave now.
Geez Unomac it’s Sunday!
Well, in all fairness, back then the Marines weren’t taking lesbians. Neither was NASA.
Semper Fib.
Right on. I remember when she came up with this same bullshit some years back. Maybe she’s running out of lies although I never thought that possible.

She probably did apply and was turned down, because the Matines may fight dirty to get their job done, but NOT THAT DIRTY.
The Marines have integrity and ethics and loyalty. Three black marks against her joining any branch of the military.
Good one. GOOD MORNING VIETVET!
Thanks, and good morning to you too, Magnum.
🙂
“I bet she didn’t offer the common courtesy of a reach-around!!”
Magnum and Vietvet, I was there in Bosnia and saw it first-hand. I was also there when she applied to the Marines. Great moments in history and I was there.
Brian I watched the week long newscast you did from a foxhole in Bosnia, good stuff. You are a true American hero and thank God you made it back alive!
Nice!
Actually, the last time we had tea together, I did thank Him!
Doesn’t pass the smell test. My Grandmother joined the Marines during WWII (Marine Corp Women’s Reserve).
In 1948, Congress passed the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act, which allowed women to serve as permanent members of the armed forces, in addition to a reserve force.

Sam, I think you got it close to right on that first description. Let me finish it for you.
“. . . because the Manatees may fight dirty. . . . “
