Us Neil Young aficionados refer to Mr. Diamond as either “The Unibrow” or “The AntiNeil.”
That being said, I’m still waiting for Young’s Christmas album. It’ll be a long wait.
I’ve enjoyed Neil Diamond. There is a lesson to Muslims which will of course be ignored. A Jew sings a song celebrating one of the highest religious holidays of Christians and no one is offended or calling for a fatwa. Infact both both religions are free to enjoy it. Islam is so 800 years ago.

Long story short, I met Neil Diamond back in the 80’s.
Really nice guy. Not pretentious at all.
I didn’t care for his music but his voice is okay, especially compared to a lot of his contemporaries. Had a girlfriend who loved him. Short relationship.
