  1. I think I’d rather go bald than to have one of those … yes, some parts of the ’70’s sucked
but if I had to pick one, I’d go w/ Chris … row 3, column 3

  2. Eeew! What man hating bitch perpetrated these hair styles on men? Pick on your own kind. Men, do your own thing. Clean, in control, but fun to play with. “Style” is so over rated.

  3. I shaved my head a few times. My wife said I looked like I had a terrible disease.

Which cast me back to a Long-Lines CO tech I knew 20 years ago. He shaved his head because he was an avid motorcyclist. I hadn’t seen him in about a year, and we met up at his CO for some bullshit problem. He had a full head of hair! I told him his wig looked like shit. He told me pretty much the same story that my wife would tell me 20 years later.

  4. Back when most guys had tha long hair style, I was somewhat restricted on hairstyle as an active duty USAF officer,
Ow, at 76, I don’t have enough hair to do any of these styles.

  5. # 6 and #9 Look like they will flat out kill you if you do not have sex with them ladies, and then they eat you.
But I bet the rest were all nice guys, But that Manson guy, #4 stay away from him.

  6. If I had to choose, I’d choose suicide.

OK, seriously, only four have mustaches and three of those are obviously the result of severe mental illness and/or a deeply flawed character. I’m left with 3C. *gag*

  7. #1 because it looks exactly like my high school graduation photo. I’m trying to track down every copy of that yearbook and burn them. On the other hand, it looks better than a man bun.

  8. Hey @BFH, are any/all of these photos of some kind of celebrities? That first one (A1) looks like a young Larry Wilcox (played opposite Erik Estrada in C.H.I.P.S.), and C1 might be a young Rick Moranis. There are others that ring faint bells but I can’t quite tell who they remind me of. Is Graeme Edge of the Moody Blues in there somewhere?

  9. I always admire guys with good hair.
Robert Conrad of Wild Wild West.
    Don Johnson in Miami Vice.
Jeff Bridges in Against All Odds.

My hair was mostly similar to Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon.
I like having long hair since it is naturally curly and nobody knows how to cut curly hair.
    SMDH!

  10. @LBS — The next time you see a woman with nicely styled curly hair, ask her where and by whom she gets it done. I’m serious! Male barbers are generally bad at anything outside a narrow range of standard cuts.

  11. Thanks Al.
The problem is always the stylist trying to be even & perfect.
The way the hair curls, they cut the left side, then the right, then measure and have to do it again and again trying to get it exactly even.
Then they have cut too much off.
It aint never gonna be even.

I actually cut it myself these days.

  12. And these guys thought they looked good?
All of them require meticulous detailed effort to create, and will immediately collapse into a pathetic mess as you leave the beauty parlor and the first gust of wind hits you.
Bottom row, third from the left – looks like a character from a British comedy TV show.
