JTN: Conservative firebrand Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., has been ousted from the conservative Freedom Caucus, a member of its board has said.
Maryland GOP Rep. Andy Harris told Politico on Thursday that “[a] vote was taken to remove Marjorie Taylor Greene from the House Freedom Caucus for some of the things she’s done.”
Occurring last week, the results of the vote first became public on Thursday due to Harris’s statement. He did not indicate how he voted.
The ouster follows intense squabbles between Greene and members of the Caucus, most notably over her vehement support for House Speaker Kevin McCarthy during the leadership contest. more
PS: According to reports, Greene called Boebert “a little bitch” on the House floor.
