The “American Journal of Psychiatry” has released a correction to a 2019 study that originally said transgender people received mental health benefits by undergoing gender-reassignment surgeries.
An article at the Public Discourse by family physician Dr. Andre Van Mol of the American College of Pediatricians, endocrinologist Dr. Michael Laidlaw, and psychiatrists Dr. Miriam Grossman and Dr. Paul McHugh said that the original authors of the study retracted it after it was requested they reanalyze the data.

Science says chromosomes do not lie! XX = Female and XY = Male is the truth. No way to change that reality.
No amount of hormones, makeup, wardrobe changes, acting lessons, or mutilation surgery changes this fact.
Quacks who act on this mental illness to prescribe hormones or do surgery should have their medical license revoked. They violated their oath. Of course, the same is true of those who commit murder by abortion, which is not healthcare, and always kills one of the patients.
Apparently, you need a PhD to figure out that cutting your dick off because you’re a self-loathing loser isn’t really a good mental health strategy.
…also, there is no such thing as “transition surgery”. You cut the pens off a man, it’s still a man, just a mutilated one. You cut the breasts off a woman, it’s still a woman, just a surgically mangled one.
Male and female are ground into every cell, and go far beyond anything you can cut off or stitch on.

Transition surgery is misnamed anyway, There is no complete transition from male to female, or five versa. Transition surgery is a mental health bandaid..
The study found the surgery offers no mental health benefit. Instead, the study review determined the surgery intensified a mental health detriment.

I have always been fascinated by the fact that some mental illness’s are encouraged, Transgenderism and homosexuality, and some discouraged like claiming to be Napoleon or Teddy Roosevelt. maybe we should follow the money
Who is willing to bet that they changed it half heartedly after noting the uptick in ‘transitions’ that will ultimately lead to mass suicide and/or lawsuits.
