The lowest rating that effort deserves is magnificent coupled with outstanding!
I saw RENT on Broadway, almost 20 years ago now. All I remember is that it was too loud, I disliked all the characters and some guy in drag tried to steal the show.
This is so much better because it actually makes sense and they are all likeable.
