Millions of Americans have received a $1,200 stimulus check from the government as part of economic relief in face of the coronavirus pandemic, including those who have died since filing their tax returns in 2018 or 2019.

I can’t understand why the dead folks should return their checks. They still vote for Democrats, so they should get a check, right?

My grandpa’s been dead for many years and he ain’t got one yet.
Then again…..he’s not very well known and I’m sure he never voted democrat after he died.

My 99 year old grandmother died just before Christmas last year. My mom received a check for her made out to “(name),deceased.”
She sent it back.
Well, so, what else is new they also get social security and disability checks!
My Mom died in December and the clinic bill the insurance company in May for a physical. The insurance paid it. I called the clinic and got the “Oh, we’ll check into that”.

We haven’t gotten ours. We timely filed 2019 income tax return and even paid some money to IRS.
No telling when it will come.
For those who have not received their check go to irs.gov and click on “Get My Payment” fill out the info boxes and it will give you an update of the status of your check. I did it and was told my check is scheduled to be mailed later this month.
