CBS –A group is planning to unveil an 8-foot-tall bronze statue featuring a goat-headed Satan in Detroit during a gathering that’s being billed as the “largest public satanic ceremony in history.
Detroit was ultimately selected for the unveiling because The Satanic Temple in the city has a “strong congregation,” with more than 200 registered members.
The Satanic Temple says it advocates for the separation of church and state. It now wants to erect it outside Arkansas’ Statehouse where a Ten Commandments monument also is planned.
Invitations to “The Unveiling” summoned guests to prepare for “a night of chaos, noise, and debauchery… Come dance with the Devil and experience history in the making.” The event location is not being announced publicly and is known only to those with tickets.
I think you can get chaos, noise and debauchery in Detroit without having to buy tickets.

These Satanists-for the most part-believe in nothing, neither God nor Satan. Their whole MO is to childishly poke their finger in the eye of Christians. The think they’re edgy going after Christians but. they’re puerile weenies. Would they go after Islam?; I think not.
However, if you claim to be a Satanist you already belong to him whether you believe in him or not. You open a door to Satan and he’ll come in. He doesn’t care if for you it’s all about dressing in Halloween type outfits and thumbing your nose at Christians. They had a Satanic Mass in OK and then the woman got beheaded by a jihadist. I think the two incidences are not unrelated.
So for Christians we surrender our lives daily to Christ, pray, read the Bible and put on the full armor of God.

The difference between islamists and satanists is that the satanists know who they’re worshipping, the islamists don’t know it yet. For if they knew, many of them would become Christian.

It could be kind of funny to see the reaction of the worshipers if someone could fix the statue to be able to move and “come to life” by remote control. Bet those worshipers would soil their britches.
