President Pulls Kathleen Ann Kavalec’s Nomination For Ambassadorship To Albania

Former State Department Deputy Assistant Secretary Kathleen Ann Kavalec had been awaiting an appointment to serve as our ambassador to Albania. That was until her nomination was pulled this week by the White House.

Turns out Kavalec had dealings with Christopher Steele and Bruce Ohr. Her Senate confirmation hearing was canceled in January after law makers requested more information on Kavalec’s communications with by Steele and Ohr. More

  1. Albania? She’s been hanging around waiting for Albania? For two years? Anything to keep your Security Clearance limber and your hand in the cookie jar. I guess it’s time for her to run to CNN.

  2. Albania AKA “Amway-nia” after their ponzi scheme national retirement system blew up around 15 years ago. Getting sent to the socialist hell hole sounds more like punishment to me. She ought to be grateful to stay in DC with the awful commute.
