My mother is 97, the sperm donor passed away over 20 years ago. She still drives, but her doctor told her to stop driving. She said NO! My point is that I tease her that she has out lived Jack LaLanne without the exercise as well. With people like the Queen and Prince, they haven’t had to work a day in their life, were catered to all their life. Why wouldn’t they live well into their 90’s? Everyone’s day is coming.

That sums it up right there! Far too many elites in this world have been catered to, and the world doesn’t stop spinning because they left this world. The Prince didn’t take anything with him, he’s nothing but a naked corpse.
During medieval times feudal monarchy was the only viable means of governance. But hereditary monarchy is a lottery. A survey of the Carolingians, Plantagenets, Hanoverians and Hapsburgs will illustrate this.
Britain has been served by many great monarchs- Boadicea, Alfred, William and Elizabeth come to mind. Each faced differing challenges of invasion, consolidation and world conflict.
England is now a constitutional monarchy. Power resides in the houses of Parliament and the monarch serves largely as a symbol of State.
This is fundamentally similar to the American constitutional system.
As an American, I have no use for a King. (Or, for that matter, a Mullah. Or a *Woke* pResident.)
But I don’t begrudge Britain theirs.

JEFF. Back in th 40’s we had strange things called “tobacco shops”; lots of ’em! When I bought meh home decades ago our town had over dozen “tobacco hoops”. Never “Walked. mile….” but put many a. match, and latter my ZIPPO to millions of Camels!
I may have called 1 or 2 on the tele and asked, “Do you have Prince Albert in a can?”. I thought I ws so clever 73 years ago.

There was a small mom & pop store down the road from my grandparents farm in Dalton Gardens, Idaho just N. of Coeur d’Alene back in the late 50’s and early 60’s that we would stop at occasionally that sold candy cigarettes that blew little puffs of white powdery smoke and the little wax pop bottles filled with liquid sugar and other goodies. I have fond memories of this as a small kid and somewhere with all the old family photos there are still some pictures of my brothers and I puffing on those candy cigarettes pretending we were cool. It was a much different and better time back then to be a kid. And yes, we pulled a lot of smart ass pranks as well, some we got away with while others we paid the price (usually a paddling on our bare butts) for when we got caught mostly by my grandfather. And the time 2 of my brothers and my cousin peed on my girl cousin from high up in a large cottonwood tree, my uncle was laughing as hard as they were while he was paddling their bare asses for the sheer audacity to have peed on her head. If my grandfather had been still alive he would’ve skinned them alive for that. And they still talk and laugh about that to this day.

Spent some time in the U.K. in my younger days. What always amazed me was how much the commoners adored the royal family. Back in the early 90’s the tax money that went to support them was nearly 375,000,000 pounds a year.That amount was $500,000,000 in U.S. currency. I never got that, still don’t. The royals don’t do anything except be sponges. Wait a minute, I guess that sums America up nowadays as well.

Although royalty represented by flawed men and women in the world lacks integrity, that does not mean royalty is stupid.
Royalty, as it exists in the world, despite how poorly it’s represented still is an example of how a royal system operates.
If you know Christ as your Lord and Savior – get with the system – literally, because the Word of God says so. Heaven is a kingdom which is all about royalty, as described by this scripture:
“You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”

There are several scriptures that describe the Heavenly kingdom of God and the conclusion is… royal hierarchy defines the system of Heaven.
Men don’t define royalty. Only God sets the ultimate rules representing royalty.
