Republicans On House Intel ‘Moving Strongly’ Toward Releasing Nunes FISA Memo

DC: Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee are warming up to the idea of voting to release a four-page memo that alleges FBI and Justice Department abuses related to the infamous Steele dossier and secret surveillance warrants obtained by the Obama administration.

“Based on feedback from members who’ve seen the memo, [House Intelligence Committee] Republicans moving strongly in direction of publishing it,” a source from the committee told The Daily Caller on Tuesday.

Last week, Republicans on the committee voted to provide the mysterious memo to all members of Congress. Over the past several days, more than 200 lawmakers — nearly all of them Republican — have visited a secure facility on Capitol Hill to view the document.

The memo was put together by Republicans on the committee, including California Rep. Devin Nunes — the committee chairman, South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy and top staffers. Gowdy said Tuesday that the information in the memo was taken from documents provided by the FBI and Justice Department.  read more

  1. These people hiding the release of this memo give Russia too much damn credit.

Just fucking release the memo and let the hangings begin.

We already know that what we’ll read is beyond shocking a repulsive. On with it, already!

  2. What Bullshit. The only thing these stupid bastards are accomplishing (either through ignorance or design, not sure which) is give time to the Democrats as well as the bad actors mentioned in it time to discredit the memo when (or if) it comes out non-redacted. Absolutley unbelievable.

  3. Feinstein releases 10 hours of Fusion confidenial testimony because her gonnorhea flared up and Grassley shrugs.

The Gang That Can’t Shoot Straight forms a subcommittee on the committee to hold a quorum to investigate voting on the new committee’s bylaws to one day maybe do what DiFi never gave a second thought.

  4. Aside from embarrassing Democrats and possibly leading to indictments (must…stop…laughing), why the secrecy? Democrats have been beating the Russia claims for months now – the river card has been turned and it’s time to show the hand. If the Obama administration abused the FISA court, we absolutely need to know this. If we need to clean out the FBI and the DOJ, the latter agency which has already been contaminated by Holder and Lynch, let’s get it done.

Look Republicans, holding on to your valued minority status and returning to irrelevancy isn’t a winning game plan. The Democrats would leak embarrassing or criminal information against Republicans in a heartbeat – grow a pair and release this thing.

  5. Same old gutless, left colluding GOP games. Tons of bravado and ‘we got them’ only to shit all over their constituents by covering the left’s piles of illegal crap with more cat litter.

Holder, IRS, obama, Huma, HRC, Lynch, and on and on and on and on and NADA.

Well, that depends on what the script actually says, now don’t it wrasslin’ ref? Coach always told me “Goin’ off script, from the job you was hired to play act at, and burnin’ bridges at the same time, is no way to ensure a golden parachute retirement, son.”

  7. if these clowns had Strzok and Horseface’s missing texts in their hands, and the texts showed planned violence to eliminate Trump, they’d be fretting about releasing those, too.

    > I’m buying stock in rope manufacturers.

Like tulips, it may be romantic, but it won’t be profitable. They already bought millions and millions of “single use, disposable, skull ventilators.” No sense in letting them go to waste.
