Sexual Harassment Accusations Filed Against ESPN

Breitbart: A former ESPN employee has filed a lawsuit alleging that ESPN host John Buccigross engaged in sexually abusive behavior, including sending inappropriate photos and attempting to initiate a sexual relationship.

Former ESPN legal analyst Adrienne Lawrence filed an 85-page lawsuit alleging that the sports cable network sexually discriminated against her and foists a hostile work environment on female employees, according to Daily Mail.

“ESPN is, and always has been, a company rife with misogyny,” Lawrence claims in her lawsuit.

The former ESPN analyst specifically cited fellow host John Buccigross who she claims made unwanted sexual advances toward her.

“After reaching out to her with the promise of mentorship, Buccigross exploited his position of authority over her by calling her ‘doll’ and coercing her to join him for dinner given his limited availability,” Lawrence said in her filing.

The court documents allege that male employees routinely engage in sexually abusive behavior with abandon, even openly watching pornographic videos in the workplace while making inappropriate comments.  more here

SNIP: Honestly, from what I saw in the texts, Buccigross was just being a dork and she was the one who seemed to be doing all the date planning.
If there’s some actual damning evidence, then that’s another story. But this ain’t it. The evidence shown at the link is a swing and a miss, and the dork needs to work the abs a little harder. To summarize, ESPN sucks.

  1. Jemele Hill says ESPN is racist, Adrienne Lawrence says ESPN is sexist, and if judgeroybean is right, ESPN is probably homophobic, too. That’s almost a full basket of irredeemable deplorability. Time to pull the plug before we hear from one of their aggrieved muslims.

  2. That’s it? Some friendly banter between co-workers? Poor baby – she obviously needs a man in her life to protect her from perceived slights.

  3. Not to defend ESPN but this woman’s story stinks. he slept her way up the ladder and now wants to claim aggrieved status. Either she gets a court settlement or a under the table pay off she wins. I think there’s a lot more to the story here.
