Harry, or else an elk, grizzly or a black bear or a moose will do you in just as well. Moral, don’t play with large animals which can kill you or think that the animals are just cute typical anthropomorphic Disney creatures.

Oh deer, I hit my fair share of the damn critters in my 20 + years of delivery driving. And one moose who broadsided me just N of Sandpoint, Idaho on a very dark night. DEI management at this zoo is too lacks with securing the safety of rare, exotic animals. A high steel fence would be a better barrier, of course.

In Vietnam I do recall hearing about Marines injured/killed in tiger attacks, mostly in RECON UNITS that operated isolated in jungle areas. But us GRUNTS had a secret weapon to keep us safe from tigers and even large snakes…it was the smell of shit in our pants that would repel them!
