I think if I hear this one more time I just might scream until some glass shatters. Are there some women who wear it voluntarily? Of course. However, it remains true that many, many women are indeed forced to wear it AND it is imposed on children, which, given the excuse that it covers females from the prying eyes of lustful many, is repulsive and makes me SICK.

She did some alleged “study” a few years back–in North Africa–and concluded that wearing hijab is “empowering.” Sure, empowering–it empowers some women only in the sense that putting it on instead of fighting it anymore keeps them alive or unabused.

The article I read stated that she was suspended for claiming that the god of islam is the same as the God of Christianity.
The school rightly pointed out that Jesus Christ is the only true God and way of salvation as taught in Christianity.
Basically, as far as the school is concerned, they rightly suspended her for heresy.
apparently all she had to do was believe in some higher power of some sort. Just guessing. Maybe not even that.
My pastor says there were people attending his bible college getting saved. AT BIBLE COLLEGE.
Meaning, these people applied to, got accepted to, went to, and attended bible college with – apparently- the intent to use the degree in some fashion, quite possibly AS A PASTOR, and then realized – at bible college – that they needed to get saved.

By saying that Allah = YHWH that means she puts at least some stock in the Koran, which means that she’s a tad fuzzy about the deity of Jesus – the koran says Jesus was JUST a prophet and not the Son of God.
Which is a big no-no.
