Recent protests at State Senate President Steve Sweeney’s West Deptford home has sparked a new municipal ordinance introduced Wednesday, according to Philly.com.
West Deptford‘s Township Committee moved to ban picketing within 100 feet of a residential home and limit demonstrations to 10 people for one hour every two weeks.
Twice this month picketers gathered in front of Sweeney’s home to protest over the murder of Carol Bowne in Berlin.
At left, Carol Bowne, 39, who was fatally stabbed outside her Berlin home late Wednesday. Right, Michael Eitel, 45, an ex-boyfriend of Bowne’s, who had been sought in connection with the crime. He has been found dead.Bowne was stabbed multiple times by her ex-boyfriend Michael Eitel, who then killed himself in another ex-girlfriend’s home early this month.
She had applied on April 21 for a gun permit and had a restraining order against Eitel at the time of her death.
Protestors blame gun control measures Sweeney supports for Bowne’s failure to receive the gun permit she desired.
Why this is an outrage! I’m going to send a letter to my state senator and demand action be taken!

Had this been his wife or daughter, there wouldn’t be any protests. All the protesting would be inside his head. And deservedly so.
Dems will do whatever it takes to avoid dealing with any kind of logical reasoning.
His new law against picketing will be found unconstitutional. In public space everyone has the right to assemble and the right to associate. If citizens want to shout slogans and carry signs while doing so that is protected speech, also covered under the 1st amendment.
I was led to believe that Politicians had thick skins – if they can dish it out they outta be able to take it too. Ludicrous and unconstitutional gun control laws that do nothing to stop crime and are only designed to disarm law abiding citizens should be mocked, scorned, and the asshats who promulgate those laws should be called out for it.
I also recommend that protesters take out advertisements in newspapers throughout Latin America promising free room and board at the homes of all the politicians who advocate for legalizing illegal aliens and advocate for more unlawful immigration. I’d love to see Bill and Hillary Clinton’s palatial estate covered in a tent city filled with illegal aliens with a great big sign in front of it “ObamaVille”…. that would make my day…

you know, putting out those ads in Latin America giving the specific addresses of DEM politicians might actually work. At the very least it would cause problems for the lib dems, and would inflate the quantity of ‘refugees’ in those regions.
This is because we know that such things is going on, media publicity and marketing has been done in Latin America to bring people to this country on a massive scale ….. Putting in specific locations should work!
