Revlon Files for Bankruptcy Protection

Cosmetics giant Revlon filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Wednesday evening as it grappled with a cumbersome debt load and a snarled supply chain.

The company said it expects to receive $575 million in debtor-in-possession financing from its existing lender base, which will help to support its day-to-day operations.

  1. All those 401K owners have taken a direct hit from Biden’s policies and the stock market decline.
Now, if the fund managers bought into failing businesses they’ll suffer more losses.

  2. I’d like to know what that obnoxious crap is that old ladies douse themselves with!
I smells like cheap liquid soap dumped over BO. It is so intense I can smell that shit from 20 feet away and when they walk thru a room it’s like they’re crop-dusted the place!
    Ugh! What IS that shit?

  3. @TRF

I hear you loud and clear-

I smell that shit when they’re on a different isle and I want to leave the store.

Apparently, they love it and are so used to it they feel the need to keep adding more and more just so they themselves can continue to smell that crap.

    DAMN, I despise that shit.

  4. I wonder how much of their product depends on oil. I know their plastic cases do. Delrin, Nylon, plexiglass, etc, etc, all made from oil are tough to find and expensive as hell when you find them. This self inflicted oil crisis is going to effect our militaries ability to protect this country.

  5. I don’t use Revlon but I’ll have took at their recent ads. Did they go the Old Navy route and woke-ify their models? Atypical pretty girls or boys selling their stuff?

I’d buy cheap sweats and T’s from Old Navy. I stopped when their use of Stacey Abramesque models made me question whether I could wear something or not.

  6. I don’t know. I am kinda pasty with olive undertones. Revlon’s Candid Foundation line has a good range of olive toned foundation. I would be bummed if Revlon went kaput for that reason only. Other than that, Revlon is a bit pricey for a drugstore makeup and hasn’t kept up with trends.
