Hillary Clinton’s house fire from shorted bathroom fan, exposes work without permits

American Mirror: A fire that broke out at the Chappaqua, New York home of failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton turned out to be a short in the bathroom fan of a building used by the Secret Service.

[…] Maskiell said the Clintons needed a demolition permit for the pool, a permit for the home renovations, and paperwork to ensure the back fill for the pool is not contaminated. He said the Clintons’ main home next door was also found to be lacking proper permits for electrical work in a library/gym, the home’s sprinkler system, as well as special variances for a guard house and extra-tall fence on site. more here

  1. This is the third different story I have heard about this and it is the weakest. The one I like the best is about the loyal Secret Service agent throwing a lit cigarette in some papers in the out building that contained a couple of servers when the feds identified themselves at the gate.

  2. Wait….what? A permit to install a bathroom fan? I could install one, safely, in my sleep. Wire nuts and electrical tape. And I’m not even a licensed electrician.

  3. Anon – A winding short in the motor can cause the coil to overheat and burn. Current would be too low to trip breaker. If the fan hasn’t been cleaned it’s likely full of tp dust. Plastic venting can burn, etc.

  4. Shorted bathroom fan = “Burning evidence in the bathtub and it got out of control”. Of course it depends on the what the meaning of is, is. And at this point what difference does it make?

Safely is not legally, peasant. Audit yourself with your local commissar.

  6. we prefer to live in places where you can do what you want with your own property, without having to go hat in hand to some local satrap for “permission”…….

some laws deserve to be ignored….besides, i’m sure there was no “intent,” and no “reasonable prosecutor” would press charges…..
