step 1…..start the first graders of fall 2016 with the first grade curriculum from 1950…fail anyone who does not pass. PERIOD.
step 2 …..start the first graders of fall 2017 with the first grade curriculum from 1950….continue the second graders on the second grade curriculum of 1950…..fail anyone who does not pass. PERIOD.
step 3 start the first graders of fall 2018 with the first grade curriculum from 1950…continue the second graders on the second grade curriculum of 1950….continue the third graders on the third grade curriculum of 1950….fail anyone who does not pass. PERIOD.
step 4…..well, i think you understand where i am going with this…..the curriculum of the fifties produced actually educated graduates…..there is no way to suddenly expect a tenth grader in today’s schools, to be able to handle a 1950s tenth grade curriculum….they can’t even READ……so we have to start over FROM THE BEGINNING….
or we can do what the progressives have always wanted to do – dumb down the workers so they will be happy with their government handouts……..

Common Core is criminal child mind-fcuk deliberately intended to mentally cripple the thinking process of the next generation(s). Good luck getting a good engineer out of that swamp! Simply one more way to weaken America any way possible by the Communist Left!
Common Core is a brilliant system to produce citizens who will be unable to tell whether their monthly food rations are being increased or decreased.
I agree with you Chuck, and remember: NO calculators! Problem is, most of today’s elementary ed teachers can’t do math either. The number that could actually teach fractions properly is close to zero.
