Writing in Forbes, James Taylor shows that the supposed 97% “scientific consensus” on global warming is false:
Don’t look now, but maybe a scientific consensus exists concerning global warming after all. Only 36 percent of geoscientists and engineers believe that humans are creating a global warming crisis, according to a survey reported in the peer-reviewed Organization Studies. By contrast, a strong majority of the 1,077 respondents believe that nature is the primary cause of recent global warming and/or that future global warming will not be a very serious problem.
The survey results show geoscientists (also known as earth scientists) and engineers hold similar views as meteorologists. Two recent surveys of meteorologists (summarized here and here) revealed similar skepticism of alarmist global warming claims.
According to the newly published survey of geoscientists and engineers, merely 36 percent of respondents fit the “Comply with Kyoto” model. The scientists in this group “express the strong belief that climate change is happening, that it is not a normal cycle of nature, and humans are the main or central cause.”

BTW this study is 6 years old. My guess is that if anything there are fewer alarmists now in the scientific community who support Globull Warming theory, although no fewer politicians.

Rather, they are academics, and we all know what has happened to Academia over the last several decades. Primarily, they are progressive believers pursuing their sociopolitical goals by using tax-funded grants to write decidedly NON-scientific propaganda.

100% of scientists receiving million-dollar grants from the government find that humans are causing global warming (or is it “climate change”?!!) 100% of scientists NOT receiving million-dollar grants do not find that humans are causing global warming.

The scientists have been on my shit list for a few years. I started becoming aware of how effed up Darwinism was about 10 years ago. The climate clap trap has added to my skepticism. A lot of them will tell dreadful lies while dreaming of that Nobel prize. A lot of them want to become celebrities. Most of them are sucking the government teat and costing us billions for bullshit studies. As evidence I give you the 30 year study at the Univ. of Michigan to force e-coli to eat citric acid in hopes of creating a new species of bacteria.
It’s time to withdraw the teat and let them earn a living.
