Disgraced SPLC Co-Founder Morris Dees Joins Holocaust Denier to Back Valerie Plame

WFB: The disgraced co-founder of the Southern Poverty Law Center, the actor John Goodman, and the former ABC newscaster Sam Donaldson have joined a high-profile Holocaust denier to help boost Valerie Plame’s congressional campaign. 

Plame, who is running to represent New Mexico’s Third Congressional District, raked in $450,000 in the third quarter, FEC reports show. 

Morris Dees, who was pushed out of the SPLC earlier this year, donated $400 to Plame’s campaign, filings show. While the SPLC is known for identifying and denouncing hate groups, Dees is supporting a political candidate who has come under fire for anti-Semitic statements. He was pushed out of the SPLC in March after years of complaints from coworkers alleging that he regularly made inappropriate sexual and racial remarks. read more

  1. Dees doesn’t oppose hate, he supports money.

    His own money, which he used the SPLC to wrangle away from well meaning people that fell for his BS and gave it to him.
